The University Extension at the Cuban University of Design

Abstract
There is a very clear consensus considering that the modern University mission is about to preserve, develop and to promote, throw their substantives process in a very stretch relationship with society, and human culture. This earlier description remakes the importance of university extension, which integrates research and docent process; determine the three substantives process in Higher Education.
In the Higher Institute of Design (ISDi), Cuban Design University, exists a very strong traditions of activities out/off of the docent process, determinate in a very remarkable social impact. This one can be concrete in three dimensions: curricular, extracurricular, and the society relation. The currently article shows a panoramic with samples of each of these dimensions, of the development of university extension in our institute.
