Abstract
The main theme of my disference (speech + conference) is Design, with science and conscience. A play on words that we have used as a motto in our congress, but that actually combines concepts that they articulate in a transversal relationship, overcoming the simple everyday and colloquial look of them in their link with Design.
The congresses offer a space to delve into issues that the routine of professional practice with its pressures and contingencies does not allow. Science and consciousness are contents that, from their different approaches, complement our professional theory and practice. Contributing to visualize the complexity that interrelates them with Design is the motive that leads us to present some ideas from the privileged condition that being an active part of a society that aspires to build a better world ... designed gives us.
