Abstract

Talking about the profession that we practice, train and want is always a challenge, especially when there is the impression that a lot has been said until today, although not always well listened to and creatively implemented. It is for this reason that we consider that, at least from our perspective, there is much to be said, changed and revolutionized so that we can talk about Design with Meaning.
That is the motto of our congress and it is not by chance, the polysemy of the word meaning allows us to present our points of view from a different scenario, with new challenges and levels of interpretation of the object of the Design profession. Defining this semantic binomial is the pretext to share some of these ideas, an opportunity to disagree with established preconceptions and propose new paths. There is no design without solutions, questions have to have an answer; we are problem solvers.
