Approach to the emergence of artistic ceramics in Cuba.

Abstract
The objective of the work is to expose some ideas about the emergence of artistic ceramics in Cuba, a theme with a rich tradition and development in the country and with little-known or unsystematized contents that must be investigated to place this artistic manifestation in its rightful place. and thus remember its founders for their perseverance and talent in defense of culture in general and Cuban design in particular.
It is proposed to honor the founders of this wonderful project: the doctor of medicine Juan Miguel Rodríguez de la Cruz, the painter Amelia Peláez and three young women recently graduated from San Alejandro, Mirta García Buch, Marta Arjona and Rebeca Robés, as well as the professor and researcher María Elena Jubrías, deeply knowledgeable of this subject and in particular of the emergence and development of artistic ceramics in our country.
Due to its content, this material can be used as a reference document for educators and students during the development of ceramic classes in the institution, which will contribute to deepen the knowledge on the subject and thereby increase the motivation of the students. for the study of the history and tradition of artistic ceramics in Cuba.
