Abstract
Since 2019, a research regarding the Design of a multifunctional Dummy to be used in Industrial Design and Ergonomics has been in development as part of a project to achieve the Master Degree in Product Design and Development at the Autonomous University of Juarez City. The need emerges from the inexistence of physical and functional models to study spaces and products given the whole dimensions of the human body in a configurable model. To complete this project, a methodologic research structure was planned and therefore, conceptual guidelines from the ISDi (based in Cuba) were used.. To evaluate the relevance of the generated proposals, Industrial Engineering Methods were employed, which have been of relevance in the development of our research.
