Process of work or results. What is more important in the basic training of designers?

Abstract
Mostly people who begin studies related to design never before have created shapes. In the same way designers becoming teachers had not been specially trained to support learners/beginners in the creation of good shapes.
This issue seems contradictory. On one hand learners/students/beginners face a huge inconvenience which needs time to be comprehensible. On the other hand, teachers usually think 'it is very simple to develop first shapes. Therefore it is not necessary to explain about the process itself. The most important thing is the result.
The essay you have in your hands is the resultant work of an educational exercise. The optimal quality of the obtained shapes was driven by two inter-woven things: the theory taught combined with practice work. The process of work has been so important as the reached results.
