Abstract
The perception is one of cognitive process that it is developed in our psyche and the fine task of a designer cannot be carried successfully if they don ??t have into account the basic elements of visual perception.
In this paper the authors explain the importance and the need of psychological knowledge for designers, and signify the use of visual perception in order to obtain successful results in their work.
With a view to design from the Gestalt Psychology it is explained how those who follow it perceive the reality of laws concerning the organization of the forms that should be studied taking into account in the design process.
