Abstract
This work clarifies the concept of Museographic Design as the facilitator of the interaction between the public and the contents ? as it relates to a specific patrimonial legacy based on the application of new technologies. It intends to show the interior design process that validates the virtual resources, in the scope of a punctual museological discourse. It is focused in the communicational reach of the interactive platforms that structure the design of the museum hall in question.
We follow a methodology that breaks down the thematic narrative developed in the Interior Ambience exhibit hall at the ?Palacio del Segundo Cabo?, so as to show the effectiveness of the design strategy utilized. This case study validates the interiorist/museographic approach, channeled from a virtual perspective, as proper museum behavior, adjusted to the current sociocultural dynamics of the national context.
To conclude, in the accuracy of the museographic discourse that from the premises of interior design legitimizes the implementation of technological novelties as channelizers of the relationship between the individual and the cultural institution; due to their ability to renew the instruments that make possible the selfawareness of social beings in their cultural identity.
