Lifecycle Approach in Evaluating the Quality of Interior Design
##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.main##
Abstract
The objective of this study was to diagnose the current state of life cycle assessment integration in the evaluation of interior design quality in Cuba. Documentary analysis, surveys, and interviews were used as methods for data collection. The results indicated a partial integration of key variables and dimensions, highlighting the need to update evaluation instruments to align with international standards. It was identified that certain variables should not be evaluated within a design quality assessment procedure as they do not fall within the designer's competencies. Additionally, it was concluded that it is essential to weigh the variables according to the type of interior space to improve a more objective evaluation.
