Abstract
The Japanese designer Kenji Ekuan, has been awarded, highlighted and internationally renowned for his contributions to design including the Bullet Train, but why when we name it does a small container of soy sauce appear in our memory? Why is it more relevant to talk about a container than about the Bullet Train or a Yamaha motorcycle? In this article we will explore those traces that allow us to get closer to a better understanding of why this small container and its designer attracts so much attention.
