The amazing adventure of making a Scientific Design Magazine

Abstract

The amazing adventure of making a Scientific Design Magazine is the challenge assumed by our university with A3manos, fulfilling it with the delivery of two issues a year has mutated from an embarrassing task to a collective privilege of collaboration and contribution to Cuban design to fill the void of texts with new knowledge, theoretical approaches and creative experiences, systematized and recorded with a lot of love and desire. From the first issue of A3manos we proposed a space to read design in its multiple dimensions, from research and the practice of the profession, in the academy and on the street, all in integrative harmony, reality and dreams coexisting in a publication where find stories, projects and theories that infect us with knowledge and desire with that magical essence of teaching to open new doors and invite us to walk to make paths. A3manos is a theoretical exercise, but also one of creativity and praxis, we intend to be a channel of connection between those of us who live design, an expanding galaxy, a supernova that attracts everything good that happens nearby, that nourishes design and at the same time fertilize convergent and necessary scenarios for the profession. Today at our FORMA Congress, we shape a new issue and deliver this second proposal, something to read, a lot to think about and an invitation to contribute and deliver what we know.
